BOKU Future Conference

The Future Conference is one of the most significant events at BOKU-University. With a focus on global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and sustainable production processes, the conference aims to inform a broad audience and provide a platform for exchange. The goal is to foster interdisciplinary networking and promote innovation across scientific disciplines and fields of research. Through panel discussions, keynote talks, and interactive formats, new paths toward a sustainable and resilient bioeconomy will be explored.

Hermine Mitter will participate in the discussion “Chancen und Risiken erneuerbarer Rohstoffe” from 1:30–3:00 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by Ron Milo (systems biologist). The “Cluster of Excellence Circular Bioengineering” will also be on site with a booth. Visitors are cordially invited to learn about the cluster’s work or explore potential collaborations!
