About the project
Livestock farming systems are under increasing pressure, particularly due to climate change. The Re-Livestock project explores innovative practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the adaptability of livestock farming.
Scientists from various disciplines, along with representatives from business, politics and society as well as farmers from Europe and Australia are working together to ensure the long-term sustainability of livestock farming in Europe. The Re-Livestock research project is funded by the European Union under the "Horizon-CL6-2021-Climate-01-06" framework programme.
