Main research areas
How can agricultural and food systems develop in the future? What means can be used to counteract conflicting goals between the productive use of land, regional and global environmental interests and people's needs? What effective climate protection measures can farmers implement on their farms? Why do farmers (not) adapt to climate change?
We address these and other questions using theories and methods of environmental economics, environmental sociology and environmental psychology as well as inter- and transdisciplinary research approaches.
