„Wissenschaft – was geht mich das an?“ als Taschenbuch erschienen

Das Kinderbuch “Wissenschaft - was geht mich das an?” ist im dtv Verlag als Taschenbuch erschienen. Um ein junges Publikum für Wege in die Wissenschaft zu begeistern, stellen dreißig unterschiedliche Wissenschaftler:innen aus den Geistes-,  Sozial-, Ingenieurs- und Naturwissenschaften ihre persönlichen Biographien vor. Ein Kapitel des Buches beschreibt den Werdegang von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Hermine Mitter.

Das Kinderbuch ist ein Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit von Mitgliedern der Jungen Akademie. Ihre Mitglieder kommen aus allen wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen und den Künsten. Gemeinsam loten sie Potenzial und Grenzen interdisziplinärer Arbeit aus und stoßen wissenschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Diskurse an.

The International Conference on Environmental Psychology (ICEP) took place from June 15-18 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Dr. Leonie Fian took part in the conference and presented her last study as part of her doctorate.

KlimaLecture: What does the future of European climate policy look like?

Hermine Mitter gave a lecture at the eleventh Climate Lecture of the Junge Akademie on May 27, 2025. For the first time, active members of five young academies in Europe cooperated under the direction of Linus Mattauch to discuss the current state of European climate policy.
